I have always loved creative writing. Telling stories, building worlds, and playing with words is my favorite way to make sense of things, and it is a big part of why this blog exists. Some posts here will be stories or thoughts about games and D&D. Others will be about accessibility, social justice, music, and everyday nerdy life. All of them will be me.
One of my favorite quotes is from Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: “It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.”
I think about that line a lot. It makes me sad how quickly people judge each other, how fast we make assumptions about someone before we have taken any time to actually know them. Where someone comes from, what their background is, what they look like or how they move through the world, none of that tells you who a person is. What matters is who they choose to grow into.
So that is the spirit of this place. Kindness first. Positivity and good vibes. Having fun. And being your authentic self, unapologetically, because this corner of the internet has room for exactly who you are.
